(a)
Persons certified by the dietitians affiliated credentialing board as a
5dietitian on the effective date of this act. Notwithstanding section 448.78 (3) to (5) of
6the statutes, as affected by this act, no later than the first day of the 7th month
7beginning after the effective date of this paragraph, the dietetics and nutrition care
8services affiliated credentialing board shall grant a license under section 448.78 of
9the statutes to a person who, on the the effective date of this act, held a valid
10certificate as a dietitian granted by the dietitians affiliated credentialing board.

(b)
Persons registered as a registered dietitian with the American Dietetic
12Association on the effective date of this act. Notwithstanding section 448.78 (3) to (5)
13of the statutes, as affected by this act, the dietetics and nutrition care services
1affiliated credentialing board shall grant a license under section 448.78 of the
2statutes to a person who no later than the first day of the 13th month beginning after
3the effective date of this paragraph provides sufficient evidence to the dietetics and
4nutrition care services affiliated credentialing board that the person was registered
5as a registered dietitian with the commission on dietetic registration of the American
6Dietetic Association on the effective date of this act.".
