SB544-SA2,1,2 21. Page 8, line 17: after that line insert:

SB544-SA2,1,4 4(1m) Advisory committee.

SB544-SA2,1,5 5(a) In this subsection:

SB544-SA2,1,6 61. "Political subdivision" means a city, village, town, or county.

SB544-SA2,1,8 72. "Wind energy system" has the meaning given in section 66.0403 (1) (m) of
8the statutes.

SB544-SA2,2,2 9(b) Before the public service commission may promulgate the rules required
10under section 196.378 (4g) of the statutes, as created by this act, the commission shall
11establish an advisory committee under section 227.13 of the statutes, composed of
12representatives of wind energy system developers, political subdivisions, energy

1groups, environmental groups, and the public, to advise the commission on the
2rules.".
