ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 12

SB12-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB12-AA2,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

SB12-AA2,1,3 " Section 1h. 15.153 (3) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB12-AA2,1,7 15.153 (3) Division of environmental and regulatory services. There is created in the department of commerce a division of environmental and regulatory services. The administrator of this division shall be appointed outside the classified service by the secretary and shall serve at the pleasure of the secretary.".

SB12-AA2,1,8 2. Page 2, line 1: delete " Section 1" and substitute "Section 1m".

SB12-AA2,1,9 3. Page 3, line 8: after that line insert:

SB12-AA2,1,10 " Section 2m. 230.08 (2) (e) 3. of the statutes is amended to read:

SB12-AA2,1,11 230.08 (2) (e) 3. Commerce — 6 5.".

SB12-AA2,1,12 4. Page 3, line 19: after that line insert:

SB12-AA2,1,13 " Section 9110. Nonstatutory provisions; Commerce.

SB12-AA2,2,6 (1) Elimination of the position of the administrator of the division of environmental and regulatory services in the department of commerce. The authorized FTE positions for the department of commerce are decreased by 1.0 SEG position, funded from the appropriation under section 20.143 (3) (r) of the statutes, for the purpose of eliminating the position of the administrator of the division of environmental and regulatory services in the department of commerce.".
