SB12-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB12-SA1,1,2 21. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:
SB12-SA1,1,3 3" Section 1d. 20.435 (4) (bv) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB12-SA1,1,84 20.435 (4) (bv) Prescription drug assistance for elderly; aids. Biennially, the
5amounts in the schedule for payment to pharmacies and pharmacists under s. 49.688
6(7) for prescription drug assistance for elderly persons and, if there are moneys
7remaining after payments to pharmacies and pharmacists, for the purposes under
8s. 49.688 (13)
.
SB12-SA1, s. 1f 9Section 1f. 20.435 (4) (j) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB12-SA1,2,210 20.435 (4) (j) Prescription drug assistance for elderly; manufacturer rebates.
11All moneys received from rebate payments by manufacturers under s. 49.688 (6), to
12be used for payment to pharmacies and pharmacists under s. 49.688 (7) for
13prescription drug assistance for elderly persons and, if there are moneys remaining

1after payments to pharmacies and pharmacists, for the purposes under s. 49.688

SB12-SA1, s. 1h 3Section 1h. 20.435 (4) (jb) of the statutes is amended to read:
SB12-SA1,2,74 20.435 (4) (jb) Prescription drug assistance for elderly; enrollment fees. All
5moneys received from payment of enrollment fees under s. 49.688 (3), to be used for
6administration of the program under s. 49.688 and, if there are moneys remaining
7after paying for program administration, for the purposes under s. 49.688 (13)
.".

SB12-SA1,2,9 93. Page 3, line 8: after that line insert:
SB12-SA1,2,10 10" Section 2k. 49.688 (13) of the statutes is created to read:
SB12-SA1,2,1611 49.688 (13) If there are moneys available in the appropriation accounts under
12s. 20.435 (4) (bv), (j), or (jb), the department shall use those moneys to reduce
13enrollment costs for seniors participating in the program under this section, to
14reduce the prices paid by enrollees in the program under this section for prescription
15drugs, and to enlarge the number of prescription drugs available under the program
16under this section.".
SB12-SA1,2,17 174. Page 4, line 3: after that line insert:
SB12-SA1,2,18 18" Section 9121. Nonstatutory provisions; Health Services.
SB12-SA1,3,2 19(1) Prescription drug assistance for elderly continuation. The department
20of health services shall request from the federal secretary of health and human
21services any waiver of federal medicaid laws necessary to permit the department of
22health services to continue administering the program under section 49.688 of the

1statutes. The department shall implement any waiver received under this
2subsection.".
