ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 3, TO SENATE BILL 13

SB13-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB13-AA3,1,2 1. Page 32, line 4: after "service" insert "; broadband deployment".

SB13-AA3,1,3 2. Page 33, line 9: after that line insert:

SB13-AA3,1,6 "(4) Report to legislature. Biennially, the commission shall submit a report to the legislature under s. 13.172 (2) describing the status of broadband deployment in this state.".

SB13-AA3,1,7 3. Page 41, line 22: after that line insert:

SB13-AA3,1,8 " Section 97m. 196.25 (4) of the statutes is created to read:

SB13-AA3,2,3 196.25 (4) If an entity that provides interconnected voice over Internet protocol service in this state receives a questionnaire from the commission regarding broadband deployment in this state, that entity shall respond specifically, correctly, and fully to each question. If the entity is unable to answer any question, the entity shall give a good and sufficient reason for its failure. Answers shall be verified under oath by the president, secretary, superintendent, or general manager of the entity. A completed questionnaire shall be returned to the commission within the time period specified by the commission.".
