AB232-AA4,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: after "witnesses" insert "and making an appropriation".

AB232-AA4,1,3 2. Page 2, line 21: after that line insert:

AB232-AA4,1,4 " Section 4m. Fiscal changes.

AB232-AA4,2,2 (1) Awards for victims of crimes. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of justice under section 20.455 (5) (b) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2011, the dollar amount is increased by $124,500 for the first fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase funding for awards for victims of crimes. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of justice under section 20.455 (5) (b) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2011, the dollar amount is increased by $124,500 for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase funding for awards for victims of crimes.

AB232-AA4,2,12 (2) Crime victim restitution. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of justice under section 20.455 (5) (hh) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2011, the dollar amount is increased by $29,700 for the first fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase funding for awards for crime victim restitution. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of justice under section 20.455 (5) (hh) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2011, the dollar amount is increased by $29,700 for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase funding for crime victim restitution.

AB232-AA4,2,21 (3) Victim payments. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of justice under section 20.455 (5) (kj) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2011, the dollar amount is increased by $99,300 for the first fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase funding for awards for victim payments. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of justice under section 20.455 (5) (kj) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2011, the dollar amount is increased by $99,300 for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase funding for victim payments.".
