ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2011 ASSEMBLY BILL 37

AB37-ASA1-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the substitute amendment as follows:

AB37-ASA1-AA2,1,2 1. Page 4, line 9: delete "If" and substitute "1. Subject to subd. 2., if".

AB37-ASA1-AA2,1,3 2. Page 4, line 11: delete "paragraph" and substitute "subdivision".

AB37-ASA1-AA2,1,4 3. Page 4, line 15: after that line insert:

AB37-ASA1-AA2,2,2 "2. Before the common council may adopt a resolution approving the sale or lease of underutilized city-owned property used for school purposes, the common council shall adopt by resolution a set of criteria under which the common council may or may not find that the city-owned property used for school purposes is underutilized. In order to determine whether city-owned property used for school purposes satisfies the criteria adopted under this subdivision, the common council shall request from the board, and the board shall provide to the common council within 15 days of the request, all relevant information regarding the current and planned utilization of the city-owned property used for school purposes that is proposed for sale or lease under this paragraph.".
