AB7-ASA2-AA20,1,3 3" Section 43m. 6.76 (1m) of the statutes is created to read:
AB7-ASA2-AA20,2,24 6.76 (1m) Any person who is entitled to vote in an election is entitled to be
5absent from work for not more than 3 successive hours during the period specified
6in s. 6.97 (3) (b) if the person casts a provisional ballot or the person's absentee ballot
7is considered to be provisional under s. 6.97 at the election because the person did
8not present proof of identification or enclose a copy of proof of identification when
9voting and the person needs time to obtain proof of identification and to provide the
10proof to the municipal clerk. The person shall provide notice to the affected employer

1before his or her intended absence and the employer may designate the time for the
2absence.".
