ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 10, TO 2011 ASSEMBLY BILL 92

AB92-AA10,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB92-AA10,1,4 1. Page 2, line 4: delete "the city" and substitute "the city or, subject to par. (bm), any pupil in grades 9 to 12 who resides within the city may attend, at no charge, any private school located in".

AB92-AA10,1,5 2. Page 3, line 1: after that line insert:

AB92-AA10,1,6 " Section 4m. 119.23 (2) (bm) of the statutes is created to read:

AB92-AA10,1,9 119.23 (2) (bm) A private school located in Milwaukee County may participate in the program under this section only if the private school is in operation on the effective date of this paragraph .... [LRB inserts date].".

AB92-AA10,1,10 3. Page 3, line 2: delete lines 2 to 13 and substitute:

AB92-AA10,1,11 " Section 5m. 119.23 (7) (d) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:

AB92-AA10,2,12 119.23 (7) (d) 1. b. A copy of the school's current certificate of occupancy issued by the city, if the school building is located in the city, or, for a school building located in Milwaukee County, evidence satisfactory to the department that the school building is in compliance with all applicable state and local laws, rules, codes, and ordinances. If the private school moves to a new location in the city, the private school shall submit a copy of the new certificate of occupancy issued by the city to the department before the attendance of pupils at the new location and before the next succeeding date specified in s. 121.05 (1) (a). If the private school moves to a new location in Milwaukee County, the private school shall submit evidence satisfactory to the department that the school building in the new location is in compliance with all applicable state and local laws, rules, codes, and ordinances before the attendance of pupils at the new location and before the next succeeding date specified in s. 121.05 (1) (a). A temporary certificate of occupancy does not meet the requirement of this subdivision.".

AB92-AA10,2,13 4. Page 4, line 1: delete "renumbering and".

AB92-AA10,2,14 5. Page 4, line 2: delete that line and substitute "first applies to private".
