AB92-AA5,1,2 1. Page 1, line 4: after "Program" insert ", changing funding of the program,".

AB92-AA5,1,3 2. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB92-AA5,1,4 " Section 1d. 20.255 (2) (ac) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB92-AA5,1,7 20.255 (2) (ac) General equalization aids. The amounts in the schedule for the payment of educational aids under ss. 121.08, 121.09, 121.095, and 121.105, 121.137 and subch. VI of ch. 121.

AB92-AA5, s. 1h Section 1h. 74.09 (3) (dd) of the statutes is created to read:

AB92-AA5,1,10 74.09 (3) (dd) For Milwaukee, indicate the amount of any taxes levied to make up for a reduction in general school aids as a result of the program under s. 119.23.

AB92-AA5, s. 1p Section 1p. 74.09 (3) (gd) of the statutes is created to read:

AB92-AA5,1,13 74.09 (3) (gd) For Milwaukee, include a notice that provides information on the financing of the program under s. 119.23.".

AB92-AA5,2,3 " Section 7b. 119.46 (1) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB92-AA5,2,19 119.46 (1) As part of the budget transmitted annually to the common council under s. 119.16 (8) (b), the board shall report the amount of money required for the ensuing school year to operate all public schools in the city under this chapter, to repair and keep in order school buildings and equipment, to make material improvements to school property and to purchase necessary additions to school sites. The amount included in the report for the purpose of supporting the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program under s. 119.23 shall be reduced by the amount of aid received by the board under s. 121.136 and by the amount specified in the notice received by the board under s. 121.137 (2). The common council shall levy and collect a tax upon all the property subject to taxation in the city, which shall be equal to the amount of money required by the board for the purposes set forth in this subsection, at the same time and in the same manner as other taxes are levied and collected. Such taxes shall be in addition to all other taxes which the city is authorized to levy. The taxes so levied and collected, any other funds provided by law and placed at the disposal of the city for the same purposes, and the moneys deposited in the school operations fund under s. 119.60 (1), shall constitute the school operations fund.

AB92-AA5, s. 7e Section 7e. 121.08 (4) (b) (intro.) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB92-AA5,2,24 121.08 (4) (b) (intro.) The amount of state aid that the school district operating under ch. 119 is eligible to be paid from the appropriation under s. 20.255 (2) (ac) shall also be reduced by the amount calculated as follows following percentage of the amounts paid under s. 119.23 (4) and (4m) in the current school year:

AB92-AA5, s. 7h Section 7h. 121.08 (4) (b) 1. of the statutes is amended to read:

AB92-AA5,3,5 121.08 (4) (b) 1. Multiply the amounts paid under s. 119.23 (4) and (4m) in the 2009-10 school year by 41.6 percent, and multiply the amounts paid under s. 119.23 (4) and (4m) in the 2010-11 In the 2011-12 school year and in each school year thereafter by 38.4, 30 percent.

AB92-AA5, s. 7L Section 7L. 121.08 (4) (b) 2. of the statutes is amended to read:

AB92-AA5,3,10 121.08 (4) (b) 2. Multiply the amounts paid under s. 119.23 (4) and (4m) in the 2009-10 school year by 3.4 percent, and multiply the amounts paid under s. 119.23 (4) and (4m) in the 2010-11 In the 2012-13 school year and in each school year thereafter by 6.6, 15 percent.

AB92-AA5, s. 7p Section 7p. 121.08 (4) (b) 3. of the statutes is repealed and recreated to read:

AB92-AA5,3,13 121.08 (4) (b) 3. In the 2013-14 school year and each school year thereafter, zero percent.

AB92-AA5, s. 7r Section 7r. 121.137 of the statutes is repealed.

AB92-AA5, s. 7u Section 7u. 121.90 (2) (am) 4. of the statutes is repealed.".
