SB259-SA5,1,11 (1) Upon the enactment of the 2012 fiscal year budget for Milwaukee County, the county executive shall certify to the secretary of administration the amount of the total aggregate appropriations for the functions of the Milwaukee County treasurer and the Milwaukee County comptroller, as created in this act, that are derived from property tax and sales tax revenues, and from fees paid to the treasurer or comptroller. In paying for the functions of the treasurer and the comptroller during the county's 2012 fiscal year, Milwaukee County may not exceed the amount certified.".
