SB270-SA2,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB270-SA2,1,3 21. Page 1, line 2: after "circulators" insert ", compensation of recall petition
3circulators, and providing a penalty".

SB270-SA2,1,4 42. Page 2, line 19: after that line insert:

SB270-SA2,1,5 5" Section 1w. 12.13 (3) (zf) of the statutes is created to read:

SB270-SA2,1,86 12.13 (3) (zf) Compensate a person who circulates a petition for the recall of an
7officer at a rate that varies in relation to the number of signatures of electors
8obtained by the person.

SB270-SA2, s. 1x 9Section 1x. 12.60 (1) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB270-SA2,1,1210 12.60 (1) (b) Whoever violates s. 12.03, 12.05, 12.07, 12.08 or 12.13 (2) (b) 8.,
11(3) (b), (c), (d), (g), (i), (n) to (x), (ze), (zf), (zm) or (zn) may be fined not more than
12$1,000, or imprisoned not more than 6 months or both.".

13. Page 2, line 21: delete "This act" and substitute "The treatment of section
28.40 (2) of the statutes".
