SB284-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB284-SA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: after "Bill)" insert "and prohibiting the expenditure of moneys from the national mortgage settlement without legislative approval".

SB284-SA1,1,4 2. Page 4, line 10: before that line insert:

SB284-SA1,1,5 " Section 8d. 20.932 of the statutes is created to read:

SB284-SA1,1,9 20.932 National mortgage settlement. The state may make no expenditure of the moneys directly received from the national mortgage settlement unless the expenditure is approved by a majority of the members elected to each house of the legislature.".
