SB388-SA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB388-SA3,1,2 1. Page 7, line 20: after that line insert:

SB388-SA3,1,4 "3m. If skiing, stay on the trails for which he or she has been determined to be qualified to use.".

SB388-SA3,1,5 2. Page 11, line 13: after that line insert:

SB388-SA3,1,13 "(am) Testing of ability. Before issuing a ticket or a season pass to an individual who will be engaged in skiing, a ski area operator shall assess the level of skiing ability of the individual to determine which levels of trails he or she is qualified to use. The assessment shall be performed either by having the individual fill out a form containing questions to assess his ability or by skiing in the presence of an employee or agent of the ski area operator. The individual shall be issued a ticket or pass that is color-coded to show the difficulty levels of trails he or she is qualified to use.".
