SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO 2011 SENATE BILL 478

SB478-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB478-SA1,1,3 1. Page 4, line 4: delete "Assistance" and substitute "Law enforcement contact and involvement".

SB478-SA1,1,4 2. Page 4, line 7: after "person" insert "notifies, or".

SB478-SA1,1,5 3. Page 4, line 7: delete "by" and substitute "by,".

SB478-SA1,1,7 4. Page 4, line 8: after "agency" insert "prior to retrieval, recovery, or removal of the vehicle".

SB478-SA1,1,9 5. Page 4, line 9: delete the material beginning with "No" and ending with "3." on line 14.

SB478-SA1,1,11 6. Page 4, line 17: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 5, line 1, and substitute:

SB478-SA1,2,4 "(b) No person may knowingly assist an operator or occupant of a motor vehicle involved in an accident as described in sub. (1) to flee the scene of the accident unless the accident has, or the person is advised that the accident has, first been reported to a law enforcement agency, except to provide medical assistance.".
