ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO 2011 SENATE BILL 539

SB539-AA1,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by senate substitute amendment 1, as follows:

SB539-AA1,1,4 1. Page 1, line 5: after "condominiums" insert "and limiting the number of votes of a member of a condominium association who owns more than one unit".

SB539-AA1,1,5 2. Page 1, line 6: before that line insert:

SB539-AA1,1,6 " Section 1d. 703.09 (5) of the statutes is created to read:

SB539-AA1,1,10 703.09 (5) No covenant or other provision in a declaration may be amended unless approved by a majority of members of the association. For the purpose of this subsection, a member of an association may only have one vote regardless of the number of units owned by the member.".

SB539-AA1,1,11 3. Page 1, line 6: delete " Section 1" and substitute "Section 1p".
