ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 2

SB2-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB2-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 6 and substitute:

SB2-AA1,1,4 " Section 1m. 234.83 (1c) (b) of the statutes, as affected by 2011 Wisconsin Act 32, is amended to read:

SB2-AA1,1,6 234.83 (1c) (b) "Small business" means a business, as defined in s. 84.185 (1) (a), that employs 50 250 or fewer employees on a full-time basis.".

SB2-AA1,1,7 2. Page 3, line 1: delete lines 1 to 3 and substitute:

SB2-AA1,1,10 "234.83 (3) (a) 3. The start-up of a small business in a vacant storefront in the downtown area of a rural community, including the purchase or improvement of land, buildings, machinery, equipment, or inventory.".
