ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 173

AB173-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB173-AA2,1,3 1. Page 6, line 5: after "Inc." insert "Payments made under this subsection may not be expended by Wisconsin Trout Unlimited, Inc., for any lobbying activities.".

AB173-AA2,1,6 2. Page 6, line 6: after "(b)" insert "No later than the 30th day after the effective date of this paragraph .... [LRB inserts date], Wisconsin Trout Unlimited, Inc., shall submit a copy of its bylaws to the presiding officer of each house of the legislature.".

AB173-AA2,1,11 3. Page 6, line 10: after "(c)" insert "The department may make payments to Wisconsin Trout Unlimited, Inc., under this subsection only if Wisconsin Trout Unlimited, Inc., first obtains, and provides to the department, an opinion letter from the Internal Revenue Service that Wisconsin Trout Unlimited, Inc., is eligible for the exemption from taxation under section 501 (a) of the Internal Revenue Code.".
