AB40-SA14,1,21 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute
2amendment 1, as follows:
AB40-SA14,1,6 31. Page 213, line 17: decrease the dollar amount for fiscal year 2014-15 by
4$3,974,700 for the purpose of expanding the Family Care program and the
5self-directed services option to Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Menominee,
6Oconto, Shawano, and Waushara counties.
AB40-SA14,1,10 72. Page 221, line 23: increase the dollar amount for fiscal year 2014-15 by
8$866,500 for the purpose of paying moneys to counties and American Indian tribes
9that have reductions in the amount of federal moneys received from grants under
10title III of the Older Americans Act.
AB40-SA14,2,2 113. Page 1287, line 21: after "Act." insert "In the 2014-15 fiscal year, the
12department of health services shall pay to each county and tribe that had a reduction
13an amount equal to the amount the federal moneys are reduced between calendar

1years 2012 and 2013 to be used for the same purposes as federal moneys provided
2under title III of the Older Americans Act.".
AB40-SA14,2,4 34. Page 1287, line 22: delete the material beginning with that line and ending
4with page 1288, line 13, and substitute:
AB40-SA14,2,5 5"(3e) Family Care expansion to northeastern counties.
AB40-SA14,2,96 (a) The department of health services shall do all of the following for residents
7of any of the counties of Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto,
8Shawano, and Waushara that have complied with the applicable statutory
9requirements:
AB40-SA14,2,12 101. Contract with an entity to provide the services under section 46.283 of the
11statutes as a resource center such that services of a resource center are available to
12residents before July 1, 2014.
AB40-SA14,2,15 132. Contract with an entity as provided under section 46.284 (2) of the statutes
14to administer the Family Care benefit as a care management organization such that
15the family care benefit is available to residents on July 1, 2014.
AB40-SA14,2,19 163. Provide services under the self-directed services option, known as IRIS, that
17is operated under a waiver from the secretary of the federal department of health and
18human services under 42 USC 1396n (c) such that the services are available to
19residents on July 1, 2014.
AB40-SA14,2,22 20(b) Notwithstanding section 46.281 (1g) (b) of the statutes, the department of
21health services is not required to obtain approval from the joint committee on finance
22to enter contracts or provide services as described in paragraph (a).".
