ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 741

AB741-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB741-AA2,1,3 1. Page 1, line 5: after "Council" insert "; funding for well-woman program and maternal home visits; and making an appropriation".

AB741-AA2,1,4 2. Page 2, line 12: after that line insert:

AB741-AA2,1,5 " Section 7m. Fiscal changes.

AB741-AA2,1,10 (1) Fetal and infant mortality. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of health services under section 20.435 (1) (eu) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2013, the dollar amount is increased by $10,000,000 for the first fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase home visits to pregnant women.

AB741-AA2,2,7 (2) Well-woman program. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of health services under section 20.435 (1) (cb) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2013, the dollar amount is increased by $15,000,000 for the first fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect for the purposes for which the appropriation is made. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of health services under section 20.435 (1) (cb) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2013, the dollar amount is increased by $35,000,000 for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect for the purposes for which the appropriation is made.".
