ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 768

AB768-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB768-AA1,1,3 1. Page 2, line 21: delete "and the city of Milwaukee" and substitute "or with the city of Milwaukee police department".

AB768-AA1,1,6 2. Page 3, line 4: delete lines 4 to 6 and substitute "agreement establishing the university police department is subject to review under s. 62.50 (1m) by the board of fire and police commissioners.".

AB768-AA1,1,7 3. Page 4, line 17: delete lines 17 to 21 and substitute:

AB768-AA1,1,12 "(b) The university shall pay in full any judgment in which the university and the state or a political subdivision of the state are found jointly and severally liable for any act of a university police officer taken under this section and shall reimburse the state or political subdivision for all reasonable attorneys fees and expenses incurred in defending the action.".
