SB145-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB145-AA1,1,2 21. Page 2, line 19: after that line insert:
SB145-AA1,1,4 3" Section 3m. 346.60 (3m) (a) of the statutes, as affected by 2013 Wisconsin Act
4.... (this act), is amended to read:
SB145-AA1,1,115 346.60 (3m) (a) If an operator of a vehicle violates s. 346.57 (2), (3), (4) (d) to
6(h), or (5) where persons engaged in work in a highway maintenance or construction
7area or in a utility work area are at risk from traffic or where sanitation workers are
8at risk from traffic, each vehicle used by the sanitation workers is displaying
9flashing, oscillating, or rotating warning lights,
and the operator knows or should
10know that sanitation workers are present, any applicable minimum and maximum
11forfeiture specified in sub. (2) or (3) for the violation shall be doubled.".

14conformity with s. 346.04 (1) or (2), 346.18 (6), 346.27, 346.37, 346.39, 346.46 (1),
15346.57 (2), (3), (4) (d) to (h), or (5), or 346.62 (2) where persons engaged in work in
16a highway maintenance or construction area or in a utility work area are at risk from
17traffic or violates a local ordinance in strict conformity with s. 346.57 (2), (3), (4) (d)
18to (h), or (5) or 346.62 (2) where sanitation workers are at risk from traffic, each
19vehicle used by the sanitation workers is displaying flashing, oscillating, or rotating
20warning lights,
and the operator knows or should know that sanitation workers are
21present, any applicable minimum and maximum forfeiture for the violation shall be
22doubled.".
