SENATE AMENDMENT 3, TO SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 179

SB179-SA1-SA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the amendment as follows:

SB179-SA1-SA3,1,3 1. Page 2, line 6: delete the material beginning with "that line" and ending with page 3, line 9, and substitute:

SB179-SA1-SA3,1,4 " Section 1d. 66.01035 of the statutes is created to read:

SB179-SA1-SA3,1,9 66.01035 Ordinances affecting the rights and responsibilities of residential landlords and tenants. No city, village, town, or county may enact an ordinance that affects the rights or responsibilities of a residential landlord or tenant unless the ordinance is in conformity with state law or the ordinance preserves or promotes public health or safety.

SB179-SA1-SA3,1m Section 1m. 66.0104 of the statutes is repealed.".
