SB324-AA7,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB324-AA7,1,3 21. Page 3, line 4: after that line, on page 2, line 12, of the material inserted by
3senate amendment 2 to senate amendment 1, insert:
SB324-AA7,1,4 4" Section 2e. 6.86 (1) (bc) of the statutes is created to read:
SB324-AA7,2,55 6.86 (1) (bc) If an application made in person under par. (b) is rejected for any
6reason, the clerk or election official shall attempt to contact the elector by telephone
7or electronically to inform the elector that his or her application made in person has
8been rejected and that, in order for the elector's vote to be counted, the elector must
9vote at his or her polling place on election day. The clerk or election official shall
10prepare a report of the rejected applications. The report shall indicate the times and
11dates on which the clerk or election official attempted to contact the elector and the
12reason for the rejected application. The clerk shall review the report and confirm the
13information contained therein and shall sign and date the report in the presence of

1at least one witness at the polling place. The clerk shall post the report on the
2municipality's Internet site or, if the municipality does not maintain an Internet site,
3on the Internet site of the county where the municipality is located. The clerk shall
4submit a copy of the report to the board and the board shall post it on its Internet
5site.".
