AB310-SA1,1,2 At the locations indicated, amend the bill, as shown by assembly substitute amendment 1, as follows:

AB310-SA1,1,3 1. Page 4, line 19: after that line insert:

AB310-SA1,1,8 "(2) Before the 2018 application deadline for federal funds under Title X of the federal Public Health Service Act, 42 USC 300 to 200a-6, the department of health services shall conduct a study of the impact and feasibility of the department of health services providing Title X services, which shall address all of the following issues:

AB310-SA1,1,10 (a) Statewide service infrastructure, including identifying and securing local providers.

AB310-SA1,1,11 (b) Potential service gaps.

AB310-SA1,1,12 (c) Impact on costs to consumers.

AB310-SA1,1,13 (d) Administrative costs compared to current service.

AB310-SA1,2,3 (3) The department of health services shall submit a report on the study conducted under subsection (2) to the appropriate standing committees of the legislature in the manner provided under section 13.172 (3) of the statutes.".
