AB368-ASA1-AA3,1,2 1. Page 4, line 12: after that line insert:

AB368-ASA1-AA3,1,10 "(4m) Limitations regarding rule making and discipline. (a) The examining board may not promulgate a rule relating to the regulation of dental practices under this section unless the secretary or the secretary's designee approves, or approves as modified, the proposed rule after evaluating the rule in light of the public health, safety, and welfare. The secretary or the secretary's designee shall provide a written decision approving, approving as modified, or disapproving the proposed rule under this paragraph, including an explanation of the reasons for the approval, modification, or disapproval.

AB368-ASA1-AA3,2,4 (b) 1. The secretary or the secretary's designee shall review each decision of the examining board under s. 447.07 to discipline a dental practice registrant, including a review of the entire evidentiary record from the disciplinary proceeding; shall supplement the evidentiary record if necessary; and shall provide a written decision approving, approving as modified, or disapproving the proposed discipline, including an explanation of the reasons for the approval, modification, or disapproval.

AB368-ASA1-AA3,2,7 2. The examining board may not discipline a dental practice registrant under s. 447.07 except as approved by the secretary or the secretary's designee under subd. 1.".
