AB384-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB384-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 4: after that line insert:

AB384-SA1,1,3 " Section 1m. 59.69 (16) of the statutes is created to read:

AB384-SA1,1,8 59.69 (16) Upon receipt of notice that a person has applied for a certificate of public convenience and necessity under s. 196.491 relating to a nuclear power plant that is proposed to be located within the county, the county board shall conduct an advisory countywide referendum under s. 59.52 (25) on the question of whether the plant shall be located in the county.".

AB384-SA1,1,10 " Section 2m. 196.491 (3) (d) 9. of the statutes is created to read:

AB384-SA1,2,2 196.491 (3) (d) 9. For a nuclear power plant, that the county board of the county in which the plant is proposed to be located has been notified of the proposed location, that a referendum on the question of locating the plant in the county has been held, and that a majority of the electors in the county voting in the referendum have approved locating the plant within the county.".
