SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 394

AB394-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB394-SA1,1,5 1. Page 2, line 2: delete the material beginning with "submit" and ending with "finance" on line 4 and substitute "notify the joint committee on finance that it intends to execute a contract to provide self-insured group health plans on a regional or statewide basis to state employees".

AB394-SA1,1,7 2. Page 2, line 4: delete the material beginning with "implement" and ending with "programs" on line 5 and substitute "execute the contract".

AB394-SA1,1,9 3. Page 2, line 8: delete "reviewing any or all of the proposed changes" and substitute "approving the execution of the contract".

AB394-SA1,1,11 4. Page 2, line 9: delete "submittal of the proposed changes" and substitute "notification".

AB394-SA1,2,2 5. Page 2, line 10: delete "implement the proposed changes" and substitute "execute the contract".

AB394-SA1,2,4 6. Page 2, line 11: delete "submittal of the proposed changes" and substitute "notification".

AB394-SA1,2,8 7. Page 2, line 13: delete the material beginning with "reviewing" and ending with "changes" on line 15 and substitute "approving the execution of the contract, the group insurance board may not execute the contract without the approval of the committee".
