AB450-AA4,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB450-AA4,1,3 1. Page 1, line 5: after "action," insert "requiring translators to be present at public hearings held by a legislative committee,".

AB450-AA4,1,4 2. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB450-AA4,1,5 " Section 1m. 13.45 (8) of the statutes is created to read:

AB450-AA4,1,10 13.45 (8) Translators at public hearings. The legislature shall provide, at every public hearing held before a standing committee of the legislature or a committee on which there are legislative members selected by either house or the officers thereof, a translator for any member of the public present at the public hearing who is not fluent in English.".
