11"2. In providing mental health benefits under this subchapter, a mental health
12service provider with preferred provider status under subd. 1. is not required to
1receive prior authorization from the department before providing mental health
2services that meet all other requirements of this subchapter. A mental health service
3provider with preferred provider status shall submit to the department the
4information specified in par. (a) 5. a. to d. before providing mental health services and
5on the same schedule that other mental health service providers without preferred
6provider status are required to submit requests for prior authorization.

2m. The department may terminate the preferred provider status of a mental
