AB724-AA1,1,2 21. Page 13, line 20: after that line insert:
AB724-AA1,1,3 3" Section 20m. 102.07 (6) of the statutes is repealed.".

AB724-AA1,1,5 5" Section 53m. 102.31 (1) (c) 2. of the statutes is amended to read:
AB724-AA1,1,136 102.31 (1) (c) 2. An intermediate agency or publisher referred to in s. 102.07

of a newspaper or magazine may, under its own contract of insurance, cover
8liability of employees as defined in s. 102.07 (6) persons selling or distributing the
9newspaper or magazine on the street or from house to house
for an intermediate or
10independent news agency, if the contract of insurance of the publisher or
11intermediate agency is endorsed to cover those persons. If the publisher so covers,
12the intermediate or independent news agency need not cover liability for those
13persons.".

if the agency or publisher for whom the person sells or distributes
6newspapers or magazines
establishes by affirmative proof that at the time of the
7injury the employee person was not employed with the actual or constructive
8knowledge of the agency or publisher.".
