ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 3, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 885

AB885-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB885-AA3,1,7 1. Page 2, line 9: after "71.93 (8)." insert "The division shall be responsible for monthly reconciliation of amounts collected under s. 71.93 (8) and shall ensure that amounts paid are appropriately credited towards the outstanding balance owed by each individual debtor. The division shall credit payments in an individual debtor's account based on the priority provided by law. The county is entitled to the total amount collected and credited to the appropriation account under s. 20.835 (6).".

AB885-AA3,1,8 2. Page 3, line 4: delete "$50" and substitute "$25".

AB885-AA3,1,9 3. Page 3, line 16: after that line insert:

AB885-AA3,1,13 "(cm) A debtor whose annual household income will be less than 200 percent of the poverty line established under 42 USC 9902 (2) for the size of the debtor's household as a result of the debtor or a member of the debtor's household being incarcerated during the 12 months prior to when the debtor incurred the debt.".

AB885-AA3,2,4 4. Page 5, line 2: after "board." insert "The initial term of the agreement shall be 3 years. The agreement may be extended for additional 3-year terms if the comptroller certifies, prior to the expiration of each term, that the agreement has resulted in increased collections over the initial term of the agreement.".

AB885-AA3,2,5 5. Page 7, line 15: after "secretary" insert "of revenue".
