SENATE AMENDMENT 32, TO SENATE SUBSTITUTE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 21

SB21-SSA1-SA32,1,3 " Section 4299p. 301.288 of the statutes is created to read:

SB21-SSA1-SA32,1,9 301.288 Policies regarding overtime. The department may not establish or enforce a policy on overtime if the policy results in the expenditure during that fiscal year of an amount of overtime compensation that is greater than the amount of overtime compensation spent in the previous fiscal year, except as needed to make adjustments for inflation or salary increases that were based on cost-of-living increases.".

SB21-SSA1-SA32,2,9 "(1g) Prison guard tower positions. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of corrections under section 20.410 (1) (a) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2015, the dollar amount is increased by $2,351,100 for the first fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase the number of FTE positions for the department by 54.0 3rd shift tower staffing positions. In the schedule under section 20.005 (3) of the statutes for the appropriation to the department of corrections under section 20.410 (1) (a) of the statutes, as affected by the acts of 2015, the dollar amount is increased by $3,381,500 for the second fiscal year of the fiscal biennium in which this subsection takes effect to increase the number of FTE positions for the department by 60.0 3rd shift tower staffing positions.".
