SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 260

October 9, 2015 - Offered by Senators Erpenbach and Carpenter.

SB260-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB260-SA1,1,4 1. Page 2, line 7: delete "or incineration" and substitute "incineration, delivery to a university or school under s. 157.02 (3), or delivery to a medical or dental school anatomy department under s. 157.06".

SB260-SA1,1,5 2. Page 2, line 7: after that line insert:

SB260-SA1,1,8 "(c) "Research" means a systematic investigation through scientific inquiry, including research, development, testing, and evaluation, that is designed to develop or contribute to generalizable knowledge.".

SB260-SA1,1,10 3. Page 2, line 10: after "consideration" insert "except that a person may use a fetal body part for research".

SB260-SA1,1,11 4. Page 2, line 12: delete "sole".
