SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 446

SB446-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB446-SA2,1,3 1. Page 2, line 6: delete "A political" and substitute "Subject to par. (d), a political".

SB446-SA2,1,4 2. Page 2, line 19: after that line insert:

SB446-SA2,1,12 "(d) If a residential dwelling is rented for periods of fewer than 28 consecutive days, a political subdivision may limit the total number of days the dwelling may be rented within a 365-day period to no fewer than 180 days. The political subdivision may not specify the period of time during which the residential dwelling may be rented, but the political subdivision may require that the maximum number of allowable rental days within a 365-day period must run consecutively. A person who rents the person's residential dwelling shall notify the clerk of the political subdivision when the first rental within a 365-day period begins.".
