SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 476

SB476-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB476-SA2,1,5 1. Page 2, line 6: delete lines 6 and 7 and substitute "section, the scholar shall receive a higher education scholarship in an amount not to exceed in an academic year equal to the amount of the scholar's tuition and fees for the academic year or $2,250 per academic year, whichever is less.".

SB476-SA2,1,6 2. Page 3, line 18: after that line insert:

SB476-SA2,1,7 " Section 3m. 39.415 (4) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:

SB476-SA2,1,11 39.415 (4) (c) Subject to sub. (5), for each academic year the student receives a higher education scholarship under par. (a) or (b), the board shall pay the district school, on behalf of the student, an amount not to exceed $1,125 per academic year equal to 50 percent of the scholarship as determined under par. (a).".
