SB707-SA6,1,2 1. Page 1, line 3: before that line insert:

SB707-SA6,1,3 " Section 1m. 13.037 of the statutes is created to read:

SB707-SA6,1,8 13.037 Prohibited employment for members of the legislature. During the term for which a member of the legislature was elected, a member may not hold any position of profit or pursue any other business or vocation that requires the member, as a condition of employment, to work at least 2,080 hours per year, including paid leave and holidays.".

SB707-SA6,1,9 2. Page 1, line 5: after that line insert:

SB707-SA6,1,10 " Section 2m. Initial applicability.

SB707-SA6,2,3 (1) The treatment of section 13.037 of the statutes first applies to members of the legislature elected for a term of office that begins on the effective date of this subsection.".
