SB81-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB81-AA1,1,4 21. Page 1, line 2: delete "or to" and substitute ", subject to approval by the
3department of safety and professional services, and granting rule-making
4authority.".
SB81-AA1,1,5 52. Page 1, line 3: delete that line.
SB81-AA1,1,7 63. Page 2, line 4: delete "Except as provided in" and substitute "Subject to", as
7affected by senate amendment 1 and senate amendment 2.
SB81-AA1,1,8 84. Page 2, line 6: delete "not".
SB81-AA1,1,9 95. Page 2, line 7: delete lines 7 and 8 and substitute ", and may continue to so".
SB81-AA1,1,10 106. Page 2, line 11: delete lines 11 to 14 and substitute:

1"(3) Exception. (a) A new occupational fee or licensing requirement that is
2imposed by a political subdivision beginning on the effective date of this subsection
3.... [LRB inserts date], may not take effect unless all of the following apply:
SB81-AA1,2,54 1. The fee or requirement does not apply to an occupation that is subject to
5regulation or credentialing by the state.
SB81-AA1,2,66 2. The department grants a waiver to the political subdivision for its action.
SB81-AA1,2,117 (b) The department of safety and professional services must grant or deny a
8waiver under par. (a) 2. not later than 30 days after the political subdivision takes
9final action on a proposed occupational fee or licensing requirement. Upon taking
10such final action, a political subdivision shall submit a copy of its proposed action to
11the department of safety and professional services.
SB81-AA1,2,1412 (c) The department of safety and professional services shall promulgate rules
13regarding the granting of waivers under par. (a) 2., which shall specify conditions or
14factors that the department will use or consider in granting or denying a waiver.".
