AB203-AA1,1,9 “(3m) Notwithstanding s. 29.164 (3), if a disabled veteran is issued a waiver under sub. (3) and meets the requirements under sub. (2) (b) and (c), the disabled veteran may hunt wild turkey during any fall open season for hunting wild turkey established by the department without holding any approval that would otherwise be required under this chapter to hunt wild turkey and without any requirement that the authorization to hunt wild turkey be issued pursuant to the cumulative preference system under s. 29.164 (3).”.
