Study of funding for creating new affordable housing. The interagency
4council on homelessness shall coordinate a study of funding mechanisms for creating
5affordable housing for low-income persons in this state. The study shall include an
6evaluation of social impact bonding and the state of Minnesota's bonding program
7for creating affordable housing units. No later than January 31, 2018, the council
8shall submit a report of its findings, including recommendations for funding the
9creation of affordable housing for low-income persons in this state, to the legislature
10in the manner provided under section 13.172 (2) of the statutes and the governor.”.
