AB25-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB25-AA2,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB25-AA2,1,4 “ Section 1g. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table

AB25-AA2,1m Section 1m. 20.445 (1) (dm) of the statutes is created to read:

AB25-AA2,1,8 20.445 (1) (dm) Operations of the division of equal rights. The amounts in the schedule to fund the operational expenses of the division of equal rights in the department.”.

AB25-AA2,2,1 2. Page 2, line 12: after that line insert:

AB25-AA2,2,2 “ Section 2g. 103.005 (14) (b) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB25-AA2,2,5 103.005 (14) (b) The Subject to par. (bm), the department shall investigate, ascertain, and determine such reasonable classifications of persons and employments as shall be necessary to carry out the purposes of chs. 103 to 106.

AB25-AA2,2r Section 2r. 103.005 (14) (bm) of the statutes is created to read:

AB25-AA2,2,10 103.005 (14) (bm) From the appropriations under s. 20.445 (1) (dm) and (gk), the department shall employ no fewer than 6 individuals in full-time equivalent positions in the division of equal rights for purposes of providing enforcement and education related to laws governing the employment of minors.”.

AB25-AA2,2,13 “ Section 28m. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:

AB25-AA2,2,17 (1) Funding for the operations of the division of equal rights. The treatment of sections 20.445 (1) (dm) and 103.005 (14) (b) and (bm) of the statutes takes effect on the day after publication, or on the 2nd day after publication of the 2017 biennial budget act, whichever is later.”.
