AB573-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB573-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 5 and substitute:

AB573-AA1,1,4 “ Section 1m. 29.164 (3) (e) of the statutes, as affected by 2017 Wisconsin Act 59, is amended to read:

AB573-AA1,1,11 29.164 (3) (e) Notification; issuance; payment. The department shall issue a notice of eligibility for approval to those qualified applicants selected to receive a wild turkey hunting license and authorization under par. (a). A person who receives a notice of eligibility for approval and who pays the license fee in the manner required by the department shall be issued a wild turkey hunting license, subject to ss. 29.024 and 54.25 (2) (c) 1. d., and an authorization. The department may not charge a fee for an authorization that is issued under this paragraph.

AB573-AA1,2m Section 2m. 29.164 (3) (f) of the statutes is created to read:

AB573-AA1,2,7 29.164 (3) (f) Transfer of approval. A person who receives a notice of eligibility for approval under par. (e) may transfer his or her approval or eligibility for approval to another person who has not received an approval or eligibility for approval to obtain a wild turkey hunting authorization in the same year and is otherwise eligible to obtain a wild turkey hunting license. A person who receives a transferred approval or eligibility for approval may acquire a wild turkey hunting license and authorization as provided in par. (e).”.
