AB835-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB835-AA2,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB835-AA2,1,4 “ Section 1b. 115.436 (2) (intro.) and (c) of the statutes are consolidated, renumbered 115.436 (2) and amended to read:

AB835-AA2,1,8 115.436 (2) A school district is eligible for sparsity aid under this section if it satisfies all of the following criteria: (c) The the school district's membership in the previous school year divided by the school district's area in square miles is less than 10.

AB835-AA2,1d Section 1d. 115.436 (2) (a) of the statutes is repealed.”.

AB835-AA2,1,10 2. Page 2, line 5: after that line insert:

AB835-AA2,1,12 “ Section 1p. 115.436 (3) (am) of the statutes, as affected by 2017 Wisconsin Act 59, is repealed.

AB835-AA2,1r Section 1r. 115.436 (3) (b) of the statutes, as affected by 2017 Wisconsin Act 59, is amended to read:

AB835-AA2,2,6 115.436 (3) (b) If the appropriation under s. 20.255 (2) (ae) in any fiscal year is insufficient to pay the full amount under pars. (a), (am), and (ap), the department shall prorate the payments among the school districts entitled to aid under this subsection.”.

AB835-AA2,2,8 3. Page 3, line 13: delete “(3) (a)" and substitute “(2) (intro.), (a), and (c) and (3) (a), (am), and (b)".
