SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 835

AB835-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB835-SA2,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 5 and substitute:

AB835-SA2,1,4 “ Section 1d. 115.436 (3) (a) of the statutes, as affected by 2017 Wisconsin Act 59, is renumbered 115.436 (3) (a) 2. and amended to read:

AB835-SA2,1,8 115.436 (3) (a) 2. Beginning in the 2009-10 2019-2020 school year, from the appropriation under s. 20.255 (2) (ae) and subject to par. (b), the department shall pay to each school district eligible for sparsity aid $300 $400 multiplied by the membership in the previous school year.

AB835-SA2,1f Section 1f. 115.436 (3) (a) 1. of the statutes is created to read:

AB835-SA2,1,13 115.436 (3) (a) 1. In the 2018-19 school year, from the appropriation under s. 20.255 (2) (ae) and subject to par. (b), the department shall pay to each school district eligible for sparsity aid $500 multiplied by the membership in the previous school year.”.

AB835-SA2,2,1 2. Page 3, line 10: delete “$6,454,600" and substitute “$12,692,300".

AB835-SA2,2,2 3. Page 3, line 13: after “(3) (a)" insert “1.".

AB835-SA2,2,4 4. Page 3, line 14: delete “takes" and substitute “and the renumbering and amendment of section 115.436 (3) (a) of the statutes take".
