AB579-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB579-AA1,1,3 1. Page 1, line 2: delete “another." and substitute “another and making an appropriation.".

AB579-AA1,1,4 2. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

AB579-AA1,1,6 “ Section 1e. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated: - See PDF for table - See PDF for table - See PDF for table - See PDF for table

AB579-AA1,1r Section 1r. 20.370 (4) (df) of the statutes is created to read:

AB579-AA1,2,5 20.370 (4) (df) Solid waste management — remediation of properties. As a continuing appropriation, from the general fund, the amounts in the schedule for the remediation of properties for which the property owner, the county that acquired the property, or the person who received the property from the county is exempt from requirements relating to hazardous substance spills under s. 292.11 (9) (g).”.

AB579-AA1,2,19 (1) Special education aid. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the department of public instruction under s. 20.255 (2) (b), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2021-22 is increased by $1,600,000 to increase funding for aids for special education under s. 115.88. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the department of public instruction under s. 20.255 (2) (b), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2022-23 is increased by $1,600,000 to increase funding for aids for special education under s. 115.88.

AB579-AA1,3,3 (2) University of Wisconsin System; general program operations. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System under s. 20.285 (1) (a), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2021-22 is increased by $400,000 to increase funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System under s. 20.285 (1) (a), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2022-23 is increased by $400,000 to increase funding for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.”.
