AB932-SA2,1,4 21. Page 1, line 2: after “programs" insert “; funding for apprenticeship and
3youth apprenticeship programs, special education, and the University of Wisconsin
4System; and making an appropriation".
AB932-SA2,1,5 52. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 22.
AB932-SA2,1,6 63. Page 3, line 1: delete “(b)" and substitute “(1) Apprenticeship programs.".
AB932-SA2,1,7 74. Page 3, line 2: delete “paragraph" and substitute “subsection".
AB932-SA2,1,9 85. Page 3, line 3: delete “allocated under par. (a)" and substitute “appropriated
9under Section 2 (1) of this act.".

1(1) Apprenticeship programs. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the
2appropriation to the department of workforce development under s. 20.445 (1) (dr),
3the dollar amount in each of fiscal years 2021-22 and 2022-23 is increased by
4$10,000,000 to do all of the following:
AB932-SA2,2,65 (a) Promote and expand the availability of apprenticeship programs approved
6under subch. I of ch. 106, focusing on the following objectives:
AB932-SA2,2,77 1. Increasing participation in existing approved programs.
AB932-SA2,2,88 2. Increasing the number of approved programs.
AB932-SA2,2,109 3. Expanding the trades, crafts, and businesses in which approved programs
10are available.
AB932-SA2,2,1411 (b) Promote and provide information on the youth apprenticeship program
12under s. 106.13. The department shall focus its efforts under this subdivision on
13school districts that do not participate in the youth apprenticeship program and that
14have lower participation rates in the program.
AB932-SA2,2,1615 (c) Provide additional funding for apprenticeship completion awards under s.
16106.05 (2).
AB932-SA2,2,1817 (d) Bridge connections between the youth apprenticeship program under s.
18106.13 and apprenticeship programs described in par. (a).
AB932-SA2,2,2219 (2) Special education aid. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the
20appropriation to the department of public instruction under s. 20.255 (2) (b), the
21dollar amount for fiscal year 2022-23 is increased by $6,320,000 to increase funding
22for aids for special education under s. 115.88.
AB932-SA2,3,223 (3) UW System; general program operations. In the schedule under s. 20.005
24(3) for the appropriation to the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin

1System under s. 20.285 (1) (a), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2022-23 is increased
2by $1,580,000 for the purpose for which the appropriation is made.”.
