AJR133-ASA1,1,1 1Relating to: administration of elections and election review efforts in Wisconsin.
AJR133-ASA1,1,32 Whereas, the ability of American citizens to exercise their right to vote is
3foundational to our representative democracy; and
AJR133-ASA1,1,64 Whereas the legitimacy of the American form of government depends on the
5citizens' widespread confidence in the fairness of elections and acceptance of election
6results; and
AJR133-ASA1,1,87 Whereas, preserving the integrity of the electoral process is one of our
8government's most important responsibilities; and
AJR133-ASA1,1,109 Whereas, the administration of elections in Wisconsin is governed by an
10extensive set of duly enacted laws; and
AJR133-ASA1,1,1311 Whereas, election administrators, poll workers, and members of the Wisconsin
12National Guard came together in the midst of a global pandemic to conduct a safe,
13secure, and transparent election, dutifully carrying out those laws as written; and

1Whereas, audits, recounts, official canvasses, and courts have all resoundingly
2confirmed the results of our free and fair elections in Wisconsin; and
AJR133-ASA1,2,53 Whereas, Wisconsin Republicans have undermined public confidence in
4Wisconsin's elections by fueling uncertainty about which presidential candidate won
5the 2020 election in Wisconsin; and
AJR133-ASA1,2,76 Whereas, Wisconsin Republicans have tried to certify false presidential
7electors; and
AJR133-ASA1,2,98 Whereas, Wisconsin Republicans have participated in lawsuits to overturn the
9results of the 2020 presidential election; and
AJR133-ASA1,2,1210 Whereas, some Wisconsin Republicans have called for the state legislature to
11illegally decertify Wisconsin's presidential election thereby throwing out the votes
12of more than three million Wisconsinites; and
AJR133-ASA1,2,1513 Whereas, Wisconsin Republicans approved the wasteful spending of $676,000
14of taxpayer money for a partisan election review without a scope statement to guide
15its work; and
AJR133-ASA1,2,1816 Whereas, Wisconsin Republicans have taken repeated actions since the 2020
17presidential election that undermine public confidence in our elections and actively
18harm our democracy; now, therefore, be it
AJR133-ASA1,2,22 19Resolved by the assembly, the senate concurring, That the Wisconsin
20State Legislature terminates the employment of Michael Gableman and all other
21individuals and organizations employed by and contracted with the Office of Special
22Counsel and the Assembly Committee on Campaigns and Elections.
