SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 38

SB38-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB38-SA2,1,2 1. Page 1, line 7: delete “February 28" and substitute “April 15".

SB38-SA2,1,3 2. Page 2, line 1: delete “will" and substitute “could".

SB38-SA2,1,4 3. Page 2, line 2: after that line insert:

SB38-SA2,1,10 “(2) Study of cost savings. By no later than December 31, 2021, the department of administration shall submit to the chief clerk of each house of the legislature for distribution to the appropriate standing committees in the manner provided under s. 13.172 (3) a report that examines the potential for cost savings to the state if state employees who are able to work remotely continue to work remotely, rather than return to in-person work.”.
