AB653-AA3,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB653-AA3,1,2 1. Page 5, line 8: delete lines 8 and 9 and substitute:

AB653-AA3,1,6 “(e) A temporary guardian of the person appointed under s. 54.50, a court order issued in an action under ch. 51 or 55 granting another person authority to make health care decisions on behalf of the patient, or any other court order issued granting such authority.

AB653-AA3,1,10 (3) This chapter applies only to the authority of a surrogate decisionmaker to make health care decisions on behalf of an incapacitated patient within a hospital. Nothing in this chapter may be construed to eliminate or modify the requirements of or authority granted under s. 50.06 or 50.94.”.
