ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 2, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 980

AB980-AA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB980-AA2,1,2 1. Page 2, line 1: delete lines 1 to 3 and substitute:

AB980-AA2,1,3 “ Section 1b. 165.71 (1) of the statutes is renumbered 165.71 (1m).

AB980-AA2,1d Section 1d. 165.71 (1g) of the statutes is created to read:

AB980-AA2,1,5 165.71 (1g) In this section:

AB980-AA2,1,9 (c) “Campground” means a parcel or tract of land owned by a person, the state, or a local government that is designed, maintained, intended, or used for the purpose of providing campsites, offered with or without charge, for temporary overnight sleeping accommodations.

AB980-AA2,1,10 (m) “Lodging establishment” means any of the following:

AB980-AA2,1,11 1. A bed and breakfast establishment, as defined in s. 97.01 (1g).

AB980-AA2,1,13 2. A hotel or motel. In this subdivision, “hotel" or “motel" has the meaning given for “hotel" in s. 97.01 (7).

AB980-AA2,2,1 3. A tourist rooming house, as defined in s. 97.01 (15k).

AB980-AA2,2,2 4. A short-term rental, as defined in s. 66.0615 (1) (dk).

AB980-AA2,2,3 5. A campground.

AB980-AA2,1f Section 1f. 165.71 (1r) of the statutes is created to read:

AB980-AA2,2,6 165.71 (1r) The department of justice shall make the poster under sub. (1m) available to others to print from its website.”.

AB980-AA2,2,7 2. Page 2, line 7: delete “(1)" and substitute “ (1m)".

AB980-AA2,2,8 3. Page 2, line 7: after that line insert:

AB980-AA2,2,9 “ Section 2c. 165.71 (2) (b) of the statutes is repealed.

AB980-AA2,2g Section 2g. 165.71 (2) (bg) of the statutes is created to read:

AB980-AA2,2,11 165.71 (2) (bg) Lodging establishments.”.

AB980-AA2,2,13 4. Page 2, line 19: delete “schools" and substitute “schools, in an area of the school building that is intended to be accessed by adult staff members only".

AB980-AA2,2,15 5. Page 2, line 20: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 3, line 4.
